Colt 1911A1 early WWII, all correct -SN #774918 delivered april 27 1942. Fit fuction & mechanics are perfect, completely original finish, slide is correct and matching with the frame and has the correct disconnector cut out. Barrel is correctly stamped 45 auto + (S). Hammer - proper colt wide spur, grips are the correct colt wood plastic w/mold numbers and no strengthening ribs. Mainspring housing is the right Colt style. Comes with Engers-Kress holster dated 1942 and web magazine pouch w/2 extra military magazines not correct to the weapon. Magazine in the gun is newer and not correct. This pistol is extremely hard to come by completely matching and correct and in this condition. Early WWII 1911's almost certainly saw action and this one is no exception. This old gal was delivered at the start of US involvement overseas and is a very nice find and one we'll not likely see again for some time.
