We generally charge $45 per serial number, plus the one time $5. If you have major quantities coming in, we can talk.
You need to prove you've waited three days if you don't have a FLCWP if you're having a handgun transferred, and we'll charge you $45 for the paperwork, and the state of FLA charges $5 for the NICS background check. You can purchase online transfer fees in advance if you know you have something enroute, or just pile 'em up for later use. Hell, it's better than the stock market, right?
We realize that transfers from individuals is legal, but we prefer they come from another gunshop. It just doesn't seem right sending our FFL to someone we've never met. Sorry, but you can't say you'd blame us, if it was your license. The seller on the other end will have to bring your purchase to another dealer to complete the transaction - if he's not a dealer himself. Provide us with an email or fax # of the sending gunshop and we'll get it right out.
Lastly, please get a tracking # from your seller, that way you can watch it make its way to the shop, and you can then simply come in and get your paperwork out of the way and take your treasures home.
You will owe an additional one time fee per form filled out - $5 for the NICS when you arrive to do your paperwork. Please bring a print out of your online transaction for proof of payment.
